Sources and verification
We favour original regulator notices, government project records, official event programmes and dated company disclosures. A link allows readers to examine the underlying record. Where a source is a company statement, we identify the issuer and avoid presenting its promotional claims as independently verified findings.
News, analysis and explainers
News reports must be supported by an identifiable original announcement, a source-event date and a recorded verification date. An unverified story must not be published as news. Historical announcements must retain their source dates. Briefings organise a published record and are not live-status claims. Analysis adds clearly signposted interpretation. Explainers provide background and define distinctions that help readers understand future reporting. Editorial articles describe this publication's own approach.
Dates and changes
An article's publication date is separate from the date of the source it discusses. We display the article publication date and a separate source-event or background label. A new summary must not give an old announcement the appearance of a new event. An opening target is attributed as a forecast, and an enacted rule is distinguished from a proposal or consultation. This is a manually maintained publication; the presence of an article does not imply continuous live updates.
Corrections
A factual correction should identify the article, the specific statement and a supporting primary source. Use the correction page to prepare a report. Substantive corrections should be appended to the relevant article with their date and a short explanation. We do not silently turn an old forecast into a confirmed result.
Commercial independence
This edition contains no paid placements, casino affiliate links or sponsored operator rankings. A source link is attribution, not an endorsement. If a later edition introduces commercial material, it must be labelled clearly and reviewed against the applicable rules before publication.
Editorial imagery
Each article has a distinct editorial illustration selected for its subject. Images support the presentation; the linked original records substantiate the facts, product specifications and project milestones. Illustrations are labelled consistently in article captions and story cards.
Gambling-harm context
We do not frame gambling as income, a remedy for losses or a risk-free activity. Our coverage does not provide wagering instructions. Support links are visible throughout the journal, and the intended audience is adults 18+.
